Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Assistant Operations Manager to support the management of daily healthcare and medical operations. This role focuses on manpower deployment, dispatch coordination, and execution of projects involving government and institutional clients.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant operations in a 24/7 emergency service (front line) environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day healthcare and medical operations and deployment planning

  • Manage and coordinate manpower scheduling to ensure full operational coverage

  • Oversee dispatch activities and ensure timely response to service requests

  • Assist in execution and coordination of related projects

  • Monitor operational performance and handle incidents or escalations

  • Liaise with crew members, internal teams, and external stakeholders

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Prepare operational reports and support process improvements

  • Other ad-hoc duties to deliver the requirements of projects


 

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Operations, Logistics, Healthcare, or related field

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operations, dispatch, or manpower coordination

  • Experience in ambulance, healthcare, or emergency services is an advantage

  • Preferably with EMT/Paramedic certification/experienced

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Willing to work shift-based / on-call, including weekends and public holidays

  • Good communication and team coordination skills


Working Hours

  • Up to 44 hrs per week

  • Rotating shifts based on operational requirements
