Job Description

  • Conduct assessments to understand the unique needs of children with special needs and develop personalized individual or group therapy plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to support the developmental goals of special needs children.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy, especially in relation to children with developmental or learning challenges.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team—including therapists, social workers, and psychologists—to provide holistic care for special needs children.
  • Guide and mentor colleagues through clinical supervision and shared case discussions.
  • Support staff training, continuing education, and participate in research and development efforts to promote integrated, child-centered care.

Job Requirements

  • Recognized Degree/Master in Occupational Therapy
  • Full registration APHC for Occupation Therapist is require
  • 1 year experience on field as Occupation Therapist
  • Added advantage with experienced working with special children
We are hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to work with children with special needs in the Hougang (Napiri) area, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a salary range of $4,300 to $6,000 per month. The role includes assessing children’s needs, planning and conducting therapy sessions, and working closely with a team of therapists, social workers, and psychologists. You will also help guide junior staff, support training, and take part in research activities. Candidates must have a recognized Degree or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, be fully registered with AHPC, and have at least 1 year of experience—preferably working with special needs children.
